The Texas Limousin Association Board of Directors voted to update the percentage rules for all Texas major shows, effective in the fall of 2024. The Limousin percentage rules will follow to North American Limousin Foundation.
The new rule for cattle shown will read as follows:
All cattle shown, including calves at side of the dam, must be:
a) 75% Limousin (NALF percentage, not actual) or greater, as indicated on orange NALF registration certificates, or
b) Purple-papered Lim-Flex cattle as indicated by NALF registrations certificates. Fullblood, Purebred, Lim-Flex and percentage cattle shall compete in the same classes and championships.
